JennAir is an American-made appliance manufacturer with all its manufacturing plants throughout North America. JennAir set a new standard in the culinary market by introducing the industry's first downdraft ventilation system. This closed the door to needing an overhead hood and opened the possibility of unrestricted sightlines in the kitchen.
JennAir was first created in 1986 by Lou Jenn and then bought by Whirlpool Corporation in 2006.
